The Crisp County Cougars are definitely in the hunt for the playoff’s  with a current record that stands at 14-6 overall and 6-6 in region play, the Cougars have a remaining schedule that could put them as the # 4 seed. “We have got to get back to playing team ball , because when we do we are as good as anyone in the Region,” said Head Coach Stacey Stephens. “ The boys work hard but sometimes get complacent with our success and let our ego’s take over.” “They have a very good work ethic and our bench is talented, it is all a matter of focus.” Led on offense by junior Quentavious Dean and Ijon Owens, the Cougars have many weapons on offense including Senior ball handler DJ Tolbert. At times the Cougars defense looks like a stone wall producing turn overs and steals at a high rate. To get where they want to be as a team the boys have to fight complacency.
