GAINESVILLE — Funeral services for Deborah Catherine “Dee Dee” Sutton Young, 56, will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, May 23, 2016 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sunnyside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Young passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at New Horizon Lanier Park Nursing Home in Gainesville, Ga. She was a native of Cordele, Ga and the daughter to the late R.B. “Sonny” Sutton, Jr. and the late Lottie Mae Mixon Sutton. She was preceded in death by her husband Gary Vinson Young. She attended Central Baptist Church in Americus, Ga.

Mrs. Young is survived by her daughter Shelly Green and her husband Kenny of Americus, Ga.; brothers: Dan Sutton and his wife Kay of Tifton, Ga. and Billy Sutton and his wife Donna of Milledgeville, Ga.; grandchildren: Lanny Green and Addison Green and several nieces and nephews.
