TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — A man dubbed the “foot licker” by authorities because of his penchant to lick women’s feet has been taken into custody in Leon County, Fla., on warrants from Cordele for kidnapping and simple assault.
Timothy Eugene Batty, 33, of Albany was arrested and charged on Thursday in Tallahassee after authorities found evidence that he was employed there.
Batty, who has been reported on numerous occasions in at least three south Georgia cities for his foot-licking incidents, allegedly assaulted a female hotel employee here on March.
He approached the woman at her job at around 4 a.m., making her put on a pair of high-heel shoes that he had and then had her stand on the palms of his hands with the heels.
The victim told police that he licked her feet with the shoes on and off. He also made her sit in a chair with the feet of the chair pressing into his palms.
After the initial report, the case was turned over to Cordele Det. Ketorie Sales. He was able to determine Batty’s Albany address and obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s home.
On Wednesday, working in conjunction with the Albany Police Department, the warrant was executed. Authorities found evidence at Batty’s apartment that linked him to his place of employment in Tallahassee.
Batty is currently being held in a Leon County detention facility awaiting extradition back to Cordele.
