CORDELE — An Arabi woman suffered a broken ankle and minor lacerations Saturday morning when striking an equipment trailer with her vehicle.
Tfc. Jason Ellis with the Georgia State Patrol responded to the call at approximately 10:11 a.m. Saturday.
Reports indicate that while traveling west on McKinney Road, Martha Angela Hutchens, 50, of Arabi crossed the center line and struck an equipment trailer pulled by Hal McCay, Jr., 37, of Cordele with her 2002 Mercury Sable.
McCay was driving a 2003 Ford F-250 east on McKinney Road at the time of the mishap.
Both vehicles came to rest partially in the eastbound lane and south shoulder of McKinney Road.
Hutchens’ vehicle was extinsively damaged during the crash. Reports show she was extricated from her vehicle by Crisp County Emergency Services.
McCay suffered no injuries. Hutchens was transferred to Palmyra Medical Center in Albany.
