CORDELE — Investigators with the Cordele Police Department are looking into an alleged sexual assault involving a 17-year-old female early Wednesday morning.
Although few details are being released right now, the alleged incident is believed to have occurred at the girl’s Sunset Homes apartment at around 4 a.m.
The only other information investigators released Wednesday afternoon is that the alleged assault is not believed to have been a stranger-to-stranger occurrence.
