Daniels donates historic map

Peggy King/Cordele Dispatch

A. C. Daniels of Vienna acquired this 1907 map of Dooly County at a local antiques and collectibles business, had it framed and matted, then donated it to the citizens of Dooly County. It is now hanging in the office of Clerk of Superior Court Betty Colter. Here, Daniels points out some of the areas on the map to Ms. Colter. The map is unique in that it includes the names of property owners. Everyone is welcome to stop by Ms. Colter’s office at the Courthouse and look for names of their relatives.
