ROCHELLE — Students and their parents are encouraged to attend the Career Expo in the Wilcox County High School Cafeteria, in Rochelle Tuesday, March 31 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Carla Parks, event coordinator, said the career expo is primarily for high school juniors and seniors and their parents. However, everyone is invited to come and see what is available.
“We have invited businesses, military branches, colleges and technical colleges to come share information with students and others in attendance,” Parks said.
The fair will spotlight employment opportunities and other services available not only in Wilcox County but in surrounding counties as well.
Anyone who needs information regarding educational opportunities, services offered through the Department of Labor, services offered through local One-Stops, or services available through the Workforce Investment Act, should plan to attend.

The Expo is being sponsored by the Wilcox County Family Connection, Georgia Department of Labor, Heart of Georgia Altamaha RDC, WIA/Job Training Unlimited, Inc., and collaborative partners.
Job Training Unlimited, Inc. is the administrative entity for the seventeen counties within Region 9. They work in collaboration with the Heart of Georgia Altamaha RDC who is the grant recipient for WIA funds and in collaboration with the Department of Labor.
