Water tank work planned

CORDELE — Crisp County Waterworks will be performing cleaning and maintenance on the Highway 280 water tank on Tuesday, May 6 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

According to Crisp County Administrator Gene Crapse, residents on the county’s system should not notice much of a difference in their water service other than a slight drop in pressure.

“We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but the cleaning and maintenance are necessary to keep the drinking water safe for everyone in Crisp County,” Crapse said.

For more information, contact Wendell Carter at Crisp County Waterworks, 276-2388.
