CORDELE — The City of Cordele Fire Department is currently in the process of testing fire hydrants within the city. The testing is being done from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and will continue through May 23.

At times, water may be subject to slight discoloration so residents should take precautions during the scheduled times and dates to avoid problems.

Hydrants in higher traffic flow areas may be tested during weekends while traffic is at a lower flow.
