Cindy Bishop/Cordele Dispatch

Ila Cape (left), who recently celebrated her 102nd birthday, was the winner of $100 from Cordele Main Street and the Downtown Business Organization at the 16th annual Senior Citizens Reception sponsored by Main Street and the DBO. Ms. Cape was honored for being the oldest person attending the reception. She also received a floral arrangement provided by J.W. Designs of Cordele. The reception was held at the Community Clubhouse in Cordele Tuesday afternoon, and Monica Branch, Main Street manager presented the awards.
