Cordele residents are reminded that early voting for the Dec. 1 runoff election is now underway in the old courthouse. Voters may go to Room 105 which is Election Supervisor Brenda Turner's office to cast early ballots through Friday, Nov. 20.

Voters throughout the city are eligible to vote in the election for commission chairman. Incumbent Zack Wade has opposition from Antwoin Yowe. Ward III Commissioner Jeanie Bartee faces Larry Felton in the runoff.

Advanced voting will be conducted next Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 23-25. Voters may go either to Room 105 in the government building between 8-5 or the ag annex on 13th Ave. W. between 8:30 and 4:30.
