CORDELE — Downtown businesses here staged a “downtown sidewalk sale” thius past Saturday with six participants.

These included SAM Shortline Excursion Train, Young Fashions, Rags to Riches Boutique, GTC Studio and Health Food Center, The Flower Box, Cordele Main Street and DowntownBusinessOrganization.

According to Monica Branch with Cordele Main Street and Renee Fraser with the DBO, “the weather was cold, but the shoppers still came out. Thanks to all who supported the downtown sidewalk sale.”

The ladies say they will be adding this as a regular event. Any other business that would like to participate should call the Main Street office at 276-2902.

Everyone is reminded that “Lunch in the Park" is today.
