ARABI — A jealous boyfriend looking for his estranged girlfriend entered an Arabi residence on Dec. 15 and allegedly assaulted the elderly couple who lived there.
W.L. Parks Jr., 36, of Eastman was arrested by the Crisp County Sheriff’s Office on charges of aggravated assault, battery/family violence, cruelty to children (first degree), burglary, criminal trespass and terroristic threats and acts as a result of the incident.
According to reports from the sheriff’s office, Cpl. Avery Hillman responded to the residence at 4460 Bedgood Ave. in Arabi in reference to a subject breaking out windows at the home.
On arrival, Hillman was met by the complainant who stated the Parks had already left the residence, but not before breaking out three windows at the house to try and attempt injury.
The victim told the deputy that she and her 67-year-old husband, had been assaulted by Parks.
