Cordele — The Reginald Barry Senior Center held their 3rd Annual Valentine’s Day party and crowned their royal court. Contestants for the crowns strutted their stuff for the judges and in the end J.W. Womack and Carolyn Gaughf (center) were crowned King and Queen. Flanking them on the left and right are the 2013 Prince Jerry Dennard and Princess Annie Coffen. After crowning attendees enjoyed a Valentine’s party with plenty of sweet treats.

City officials here will conduct a public hearing Tuesday, Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. so that local citizens can learn more about the urban redevelopment plan for the 7th St. corridor and comment on the plan.
