Police release four-day activity report

Cordele — Following is the sketchy activity report released by the Cordele Police Department for the period between Thursday and early Tuesday.

Records show officers:

— Booked several persons as the result of a road block conducted on 24th Ave. E. by Georgia State Patrol troopers.

— Filed battery charges against John Lee Jones, 37,  who was arrested Friday at 802 12th St. S.

— Investigated six burglaries the location of which only one — 1305-B 13th St. S. — was released on their revised incident reports provided to news media members.

— Received six criminal trespass complaints including those at the Church of God of Prophecy at 1408 13th St. S. and at residences at 405 22nd Ave. W., 812 14th St. S., 402 Ninth Ave. W. and 1106 12th St. S.

— Looked into a pair of fraud cases one of which occurred at Ameris Bank where Mike Wayne Bush, 50, was charged with that offense.

— Made probation violation cases against Martesea Alchenique Waters, 24, of 706 17th Ave. W.,  and Richard Geronica Hartage, 39, at City Hall. Waters also was charged with disturbance and no motor vehicle insurance.

— Probed theft complaints filed from the Crisp Regional Medical office building and from residences at 317 25th Ave. W., 709 21st Ave. W.  where items were removed from cars parked outside.

— Charged Lamisha Motena Butts, 24, Genika Dawson, 29, and Jakeris Nautaurus Hall, 23, with theft by shoplifting at Beall’s Outlet.

— Cited Adam Dent and Michael Ernest Duffey, both 27 of the Whisperwood Apartments, with possession/use of drug-related object, purchase, possession or have under control any drug, violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act and disturbance.
