Dooly County Board of Education members handled a basic agenda during their recent meeting. Several items on the agenda needed approval from the board.
The first of those items was a service contract with Parker’s Heating and Air for $11,895. The board also approved multiple HVAC bids for the replacement of several HVAC units.
Barge Air Conditioning was approved to replace the unit in the elementary school computer lab for $7,797 and in the middle school computer lab for $8,769. Pruett was approved to replace the HVAC unit in the JROTC building at the high school for $10,134.
Board members also authorized that several pieces of equipment at the canning plant be declared surplus at the recommendation of superintendent Dr. Grady Miles.
