Cordele — Cordele police, fire fighters and Crisp County EMS responded to a three-vehicle accident at the intersection of 24th Ave. and Pecan St. about 1:15 p.m. Monday where entrapment was reported.
One of two SUV's involved in the incident overturned, and at least one person was unable to get out of that vehicle without help. By the time this reporter arrived on the scene, a young woman and a little boy, both of whom were in that vehicle, were outside walking around.
A woman who was riding in the second SUV which sustained front end damage also was walking around, but she was transported to Crisp Regional so that she could be checked out.
A pickup truck belonging to Turton Investments was the third vehicle involved in the mishap. As details about the wreck are available, they will be reported at this site and in Thursday's Cordele Dispatch.
