Main Street Market has large turn-out

Cordele —    The rain did not dampen the spirits or enthusiasm of the 'Market Street' participants or visitors Saturday, March 5.  Even the dogs for adoption were jumping around with hopes of finding a home.

There were many vendors with colorful wares and tasty foods.  There were also fun activities and face painting for the kids.  Pet adoption, auctions and many different items to buy were located on 'Market Street' in Cordele.

There were many merchants from Cordele, Albany and Atlanta who set up shop on the sidewalks.   Omar Heights Baptist Church displayed and gave away their handmade dolls to share the message of salvation. Crafts, hats, antiques, dishes, books, pocketbooks and many other items were displayed at the different booths.  Also, there were dogs available for adoption.

This was a fun event for all who attended.
