Students graduate G.R.E.A.T.

Cordele — Jordan Wilkerson, a 6th grade student at Crisp County Middle School, accepts his G.R.E.A.T. graduation medal from Cordele Police Chief William Hooper and School resource officer and G.R.E.A.T. instructor Sgt. Dedra Davis. A ceremony honoring 6th graders graduating the program was held in the Crisp County Middle School Auditorium Friday. Special awards were also given to those students from each 6th grade team that placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for their G.R.E.A.T. projects.

Gang Resistance Education And Training program is a 13 week program where students learn to stay away from gangs and gang-related activity and where the gang lifestyle leads, but also about Roles in their community, how to resolve conflicts and how to make better decisions.
