Pitts —  Bentley Robert Killian, 75, of Pitts, but formerly of Cleveland, TN passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011 in a Chattanooga Healthcare facility. A remembrance of life service will be conducted Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 at 1 p.m. in the North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes in Cleveland, TN.

Rev. Neil Williams and Rev. Daryl Lewis will officiate, and interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cody Gillis, Dereck Teasley, Zachary Engram, Alex Fry, David Stephens and Jonathan Carroll.

The family received friends from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 at North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes who have charge of arrangements. Friends may sign the memorial book at www.jimrushfuneralhhomes.com.

Mr. Killian was the son of the late Pearl Jane Coe Killian and Chester Ensley Killian. He also was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Faye Lewis and Evelyn Shelton and a brother, Dewey Lee Killian.

A lifetime car mechanic, Mr. Killian was retired from Brooker Ford in Dalton. He was a huge NASCAR fan and enjoyed racing cars on the dirt track in Cleveland. He also enjoyed going to auctions, and he was a member of the Extended Hand Church in Cordele.

Surviving him are his wife of 35 years, Carolyn Dailey Killian of Pitts; his children, Debra Darlene Saunders and her husband Jessie of Troy, NC, Connie Jean Carroll of Cleveland, TN, Patricia Ann Vaughn of Vienna, Rebecca Lynn Spurock of Americus, Prescilla Elaine Coffee of Cordele, Darris DeWayne Killian and his wife Glenda of Cleveland, TN, Melissa Lynn Gibbs and her husband Bill of Cordele, DeAnna Gayle Engram and her husband Bill of East Ridge, TN, Donna Sue Underwood of Pitts and Floyd Christopher Underwood of Tallahassee, FL; 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren; sisters, Betty Lou Killian and Katheline Forgey, both of Cleveland, TN and Ruth Ann Siren of Conyers; a brother, Fouts T. Killian of Cleveland, TN and several nieces and nephews.
