We have been so overwhelmed with the love shown to us during the past few months. Tim is having good days and bad; we are just taking one day at a time.
We don’t understand “why” Tim had to become sick, yet we know that God is in control.
Thanks to Tracey Walls and Arabi Baptist Church for the vision that God gave them about the pork chop plate fundraiser. Thanks to Ray Burnette, Janet Pate and the churches in the Houston Baptist Association for all of their assistance.
Thank you, Pinecrest Baptist for providing the area for the cooking and pick up. We give God all the glory and appreciate each of you who sold tickets, lifted up a prayer, cooked, provided food for the plates, prepared and delivered plates.
Many churches have helped financially during the past 6 months. God knew our needs and HE provided through so many people.
This is one of our favorite stories. An old man walked up a shore littered with thousands of starfish, beached and dying after a storm. A young man was picking them up and flinging them back into the ocean.
“Why do you bother?” the old man scoffed. “You’re not saving enough to make a difference.”
The young man picked up another starfish and sent it spinning back to the water. “Made a difference to that one,” the young man stated.
So many people have made a difference in our lives. We thank God for each of you.
Love,
Rev. Tim and Ann Clark
