Lallier still paces Crisp Horseshoe Club field

Cordele — First place stayed the same but the rest of the standings were shuffled after Tuesday’s competition for the Crisp Horseshoe Club.

Roland Lallier won all three games while opening a three-game lead in first. Dan Sanders jumped to second while Marcus Waters and Suzanne Miller are tied for third.

Only one game behind them in the fifth spot is Belinda Gardner who along with Anthony Green also won all three of their weekly matches.

Larry Myers had high ringer percentage (62 by making 31 of 50 pitches) and Jean Bullington had high handicap game (163).

Several club members did well while in Warner Robins last Saturday for a state qualifying tournament. Sanders, Suzanne Miller and Waters all won their respective classes and Ronnie Miller got a second in his division. Myers got a third in his class.

The club is hosting the state doubles tournament tomorrow at the Turner Park courts.
