Cougar soccer teams kicking for State Farm cash

Cordele — Local State Farm Insurance agent Mike Browning is donating $3 for every home game goal scored by the Crisp County High boys and girls soccer teams during the 2013-14 season.

With the boys having won 2-1 and the girls having prevailed 5-1 in season-opening wins over Valdosta High, the Soccer Boosters Club had a $7 donation in hand.

Players kicking goals thus far for coach Michael McGinnis' teams and their number of them are Johnna Robertson (2), Tyler Collins (1), Anna Olsen (1), Kierra Hoover (1) and Morgan Duncan (1). Not pictured is Tyler Richmond (1).
