At first glance and, well, maybe even a second and third look, First Presbyterian Christian doesn’t seem to stand much of a chance against the Crisp Academy team it hosts Friday night.
The Highlanders, after all, have yet to win a single start to date and in compiling an 0-7 record have been outscored by a whopping 358-97 margin which figures out to an average loss of 51-14.
Despite being well aware of all those numbers and having gobs of other information, too, Wildcats’ head coach Ron Drummonds isn’t about to let his Wildcats overlook the FPC squad.
“It’s too important a game for us to even think about taking them for granted,” Drummonds said of the Highlanders. “While I’ve seen them only on film, I can see they have some good looking athletes at the skill positions."
