VIENNA — With the election just over a month away, candidates in Vienna and Unadilla will have an opportunity to let the people know where they stand on the issues.
The Vienna Woman’s Club and the Dooly County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Candidate’s Forum on Thursday, October 1 at 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Dooly County Courthouse.
In the race for Mayor of Vienna will be incumbent Eddie Daniels and candidate Hobby Stripling. In the Unadilla mayoral race incumbent Dr. Bobby West will face off against Myron Mixon.
There are also several candidates on the ballots for city council seats in both Vienna and Unadilla, but not all had confirmed if they would be at the forum. The public is invited to attend this event in an effort to get to know the candidates better.
Refreshments will be served.
