An unidentified player for Wilcox is looking for a running lane in Patriot action.

When traveling to Homerville, Ga. to play a football game you usually need lots of police. This past Friday night we needed an animal trainer/expert like The Crocdile Hunter. That way we could have tamed the Panthers that destroyed the Wilcox Patriots 66-18.
I am not certain if that is the worst beating in Wilcox history but I am sure it is close. Obviously nothing went right for the Patriots, especially in such a hostile environment. Homerville, Folkston and Valdosta, Ga. are probably the worst venues one can travel into to play football.
The loss puts the Patriots at 1-1 in region play with nothing but region games remaining and a tough region it is. The Patriots travel to Telfair County Friday before getting a week off to rest up for Charlton County.
