COBB — Rev. Royce Freeman conducted funeral services for Claude Allen Holloway of Cobb  Sunday, September 27, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services.  Marcene Freeman played soft music and accompanied herself and Rev. Freeman as they sang “Go Rest High On That Mountain” and “Farther Along.” The family received friends prior to the service Sunday beginning at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Claude, 74, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at his residence.  He was born in Turner County and was the son of the late Frank O. Holloway and Ruby Adele Keaton Holloway.   He was the Yard Manager (RET) at Walker Lumber Company in Albany and was a member of the Baptist faith. Claud loved and enjoyed his family and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Mary Frances Goodman Holloway of Cobb; two daughters and their husbands, Sandra Lynn and Mike Truitt and Lisa Ann and Roger Maxwell, all of Camilla; a brother and his wife, Jimmy Lee and Judy Holloway of Midwest City, OK; six grandchildren, Michael Truitt, Justin Truitt, Hannah Hudson, Ashley Maxwell, Austin Maxwell and Carrie Maxwell; and two great-grandchildren, Jamie Thomas Truitt and Kaylee Marie Truitt.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Darlene Frasier.
