CORDELE — The Crisp County Cougars made a powerful and touching statement tonight with the crowning of their Homecoming Queen.
Senior Raven Dyer, was crowned during half-time tonight in the Cougar Den, a shining example of true beauty, both inside and out. Dryer has Downs Syndrome and is the first special needs student to be crowned in CCHS history.
It was truly a momentous occasion and showed a side of the Cougar student body that is truly endearing… Congratulations to Raven and Way to Go Cougars as they celebrated a 34-0 win over the Albany High Indians.
