W. Frank Greene: Army Veteran

ASHBURN — Funeral Services for W. Frank Greene, 85, were held at 4:00 P.M., Monday, October 5, 2015 at Perry Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Zion Hope Cemetery in Crisp County, Georgia. Mr. Greene passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Tift Regional Medical Center.
The son of the late Robert Stapleton and Edie Mae Allred Greene, he was born in Crisp County, GA on April 7, 1930. Mr. Greene was retired as a self-employed farmer and former Ag Teacher at Norman Park High School. He was of the Baptist Faith. He also served in the U. S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant brother, Marion Robert Greene; his sisters, Lillie M. Thompson; Lillian G. Wright, Saloia G. Pate and Luel G. Folsom; his brothers, Johnny Greene, Palmer Greene and a nephew, Edward Thompson.
Survivors include his sister, Geneva G. Mooney of Columbus, GA; brother, Bobby Ben (Carolyn) Greene of Arabi, GA and many nieces and nephews.
