CORDELE — If you are looking for a fun, family-friendly way to jump-start the Halloween celebration then search no further. Friday night the SAM Shortline Train  Depot, located at 105 East 9th Avenue will host the Annual Downtown Cordele SPOOKTACULAR.
The event will be held at the depot from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, October 30 and will feature activities and entertainment for all ages, even the family pet. Activities include; Touch-A-Fire Truck, dunking booth, photo booth. There will be a cupcake walk, popcorn and sno cones.
Among the special guests for the evening will be cast members from Empire Dance and Performing Arts Studio’s production of the “Wizard of Oz” who will be performing and dancing for the crowd. There will also be live music featuring “IAmDynamite” and Paul Luc. Also on hand to greet the kiddies will be McGruff The Crime Dog and the Chick-Fil-A Cow.
