WARWICK – Lewis Cecil Musselwhite, 88, died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015 at Pruitt Healthcare in Sylvester, Ga. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2015 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery in Ben Hill County. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at the funeral home.
Mr. Musselwhite was born in Cordele, Ga. to the late Ed Musselwhite and the late Stella Warren Musselwhite. He was a retired A Operator at the hydro plant for Crisp County Power. He was a United States Marines serving during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by a son, Ricky Musselwhite, and five siblings.
Mr. Musselwhite was survived by his wife: Liz Musselwhite of Warwick, Ga.; his daughters: Theresa D. (Ronnie) Fennell of Warwick, Gaye Terry of Cordele, Ellen (Chuck) McKinnon of Sylvester and Tracy Cecilia Musselwhite of Warwick; his grandchildren: Spencer Fennell, Brad McKinnon, Devin Fennell, Keri Bowles and Ariel Jelks; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
