CORDELE — William R. Judge, 89, died peacefully Tuesday, November 17, 2015. He was the son of the late Jack and Rufus Judge.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Ruth and four brothers, AJ, Carl, Bobby and Murray. He is survived by his sister, Elizabeth McClusky and brother, Charles Judge; a daughter and her husband Cheryl and Patrick Drennon; two sons and their wives, Ronnie and Amy Judge and Christopher and Allison Judge; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was retired from the US Air Force, and was a veteran of both WWII, serving in Europe, with the US Army, and Vietnam with the US Air Force. He was an active member of the Cordele VFW.
There will be a visitation at Rainey Family Funeral Services from 9 am to 11 am on Saturday, December 12th for friends to pay their respects and visit with family. A private family burial will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember William may donate in his name to “Mattie Marshall Center” at Magnolia Manor, 2001 S. Lee St., Americus, GA 31709, ATTN: Development Office.
