“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, There am I in the midst of them.”
Matthew 18:20
CORDELE — The Bible says there is a time for everything (Ecclesiastes 3). There is a time to be born and a time to die, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to tear and a time to mend.
With recent events around the world, across the nation and right here at home, Christian leaders say the time has come to pray.
The Community Prayer Team comprised of prayer warriors from Crisp, Dooly, Wilcox and surrounding areas have called for citizens in all communities to come together to “PRAY IN UNITY.”
The event will be held on Monday, December 21 at 7 PM in the Downtown Square in Vienna.
“There is so much turmoil in the world, we need ALL citizens, male and female, young and old, every race and every denomination to come together and pray for revival in our land,” said Danny Kimbrel one of the members of the Community Prayer Team. “And the time to do that is now, as one Nation Under GOD.”
Kimbrel said the event will be about a 30-45 minute service and all are invited to come and pray together for revival, the lost, our government, our communities, and for unity.
In case of cold weather everyone is encouraged to bring a coat and come and fellowship.
