With nothing but bowl games left to play the crystal ball gets a little cloudy but lets take a stab at it anyway.

Look for Memphis to continue their domination of the SEC by beating Auburn by 7.

I see Mississippi St rolling all over NC State by 20 or more. The Texas AM matchup with Louisville will be a good one. The Cardinals ease past AM. The Trojans of USC have been up and down all year I think they will be up in the Holiday Bowl winning by 7.

It is my feeling that Houston is overrated and no contest for Florida St. but FSU to be playing down to competition, the Seminoles  win by 2. With Tennessee making a bowl that in it’s self should be a victory. The Vols win a close one to Northwestern. Florida is good but Michigan’s coach is better Wolverines win by 3. Ohio St is disappointed in not making the college football playoff but then so is Notre Dame, Buckeyes win by 10. Iowa played a weak schedule all year but finally played a good team at the end of year and lost they will lose one more because Stanford and McCaffrey will run wild Stanford by 11.Oklahoma St and Ole Miss is the toughest one to pick, because when Ole Miss is on their game no one can beat them. The Cowboys of OSU will lasso the Rebels in a nail biter 24-23.

Ah and now to the Game of the year for the Dawgs fans. Penn State has beaten Georgia once in 1982 and by doing so took the National Championship from Georgia by a score of 27-23. Georgia is in disarray with Coaches coming and going. Though Georgia has better athletes than the Nittany Lions look for Penn State and Head Coach James Franklin to eak out a win Penn State by 4. I see Arkansas and West Virginia also picking up the W’s. Now Oregon and TCU should be a war with TCU floundering towards the end of the year and Oregon begging to look like Oregon again. I see the Ducks flying high and outscoring TCU in a shootout.

In the big games I just don’t see Michigan St being able to stay on the field with Alabama. The tide rolls big 37-10. The Oklahoma Sooners and Clemson Tigers should be a very good game. Conventional wisdom suggests that the undefeated Tigers will continue to roll but I see the Sooners eaking out a win by 2 points say 31-29. The National Title game will be another story.joe joe
