Sometime in the near future the Cordele Dispatch will be publishing a Collage on the History of Sports in Tri County Area. This 4 page event will be a collection of photos and a story on players of football, baseball, basketball, tennis, golf, track, cheerleading, soccer, wrestling and softball dating back to the 1920’s.

What I am asking each and everyone out there to do is to please email photos along with a brief description of person or event. Or you can drop photo by the Dispatch to have them  scanned and I will give it right back to you. Please any and all old and new photos of any sporting activities involving people, teams coaches etc from Crisp, Dooly and Wilcox County’s. Involving any and all schools or recreation departments or little league photos. Just to name a few schools but all schools within the boarders of the above mentioned counties are accepted. Crisp County High, middle schools, AS Clark, Old East Crisp, West Crisp, Arabi, Cordele High, O’Neal, Gillespie, Vienna Industrial, Vienna High, Unadilla, Rochelle High, Abbeville High, Wilcox High, Wilcox Central these are just a few and I may have left some out, but please all schools are welcome. This will be the most comprehensive collection of sports activities ever created in this area. This will be printed in full color on special paper that will last for years.
