Cougar Wrestling is on the up swing. After having just won their 3^rd consecutive Area Duels Meet in Cairo this past week. The Cougars are now preparing for the State Team Meet in Macon, Ga. beginning Thursday at 11:00a.m.

“These boys have worked so hard, they are great kids , very coachable with a lot of grit,” said Coach Bill Pitts the Head Wrestling Coach. The Cougars advanced after a virtual blood bath with Cairo. The Cougars put it on Cook County 51-19. The Cougars beat out 10 teams from their region to advance to state. Crisp County has all 14 weight groups filled on the team, which by the way is made up of  a lot of underclassmen.
