CORDELE –Funeral services for Voncile C. Mayo were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Union Baptist Church. Rev. Buford Tanner, Rev. Steve Clifton and Rev. Larry Wilbanks officiated the service. Mr. Charles Walker officiated the committal service.

Beth Bullock (organist), Julie Nutt (pianist) and Steven Hornyak (keyboard) played before and after the service and also accompanied Richard Nutt and Sherry Stone as they sang “Feeling Fine”. Beth Bulloch (organist) and Julie Nutt (pianist) also accompanied Steven Hornyak as he sang “Go Bring My Children Home”. Janis Crenshaw was accompanied by CD as she sang “Thank You for Giving to the Lord”. Burial followed in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Al Crenshaw, Leon Bryan, Eddie Bullington, Randy Crenshaw, Rex Bullock and Darfus Holcomb. Honorary pallbearers were: Love Sunday School Class, Deacons of Union Baptist Church, Martha Powell, Martha Tanner, Kay Wilbanks, M.A. Powell and Roe Davis.
