CORDELE — The Reverends Fred Maddox, James Spires and Royce Freeman conducted funeral services for Allene Walker Maddox of Cordele  at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 30, 2016 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services.

Michelle Jobe, provided the prelude and postlude and also played a piano medley during the service. Judy Wills, pianist, accompanied Buford Calhoun and the Hatley Choir as they sang “Going Home.” Pallbearers were Matthew Maddox, Edwin Self, Benji Johnson, Rusty Walker, Terry Freeman and Danny Wood.  Serving, as honorary pallbearers were Owen Bagwell, Gene McBryant, Tom Stephens, Bill Wills, Randy Coffee, Gene Bodrey and Michael Davis. The interment followed in Arabi Cemetery. Stephanie Maddox sang “Amazing Grace” and Matthew Maddox offered the closing prayer.
