Cougars get Region Win

On Wednesday evening the Cougars got a much needed and crucial region win against a visiting Cook County by a score of 7-3.

Dagan Kennedy pitched a complete game, scattering 4 hits, 2 walks  and 5 strikeouts over 7 innings. Dagan surrendered  1 earned run. “ I am very pleased with Dagan’s performance he was outstanding and gave us a big pick me up, after bending a little he finished strong,” said Head Coach Bill Pate.

On the offensive side of the game Will Lanneau led the Cougars going 3 for 4, he was followed by Dee Purdy and Myles Napier who both went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s each. Brennan Bledsoe finished up the Cougar hitting going 1 for 2 with an RBI. The win moves Crisp County to 4-4 and in Region play and 5-8 over all. The Cougars hosted Albany Friday night in a double header and travel to Dougherty County on Monday and Americus on Tuesday.
