SEVILLE – Robert Eugene Souter, 72, died Tuesday night, March 15, 2016 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2016 at the Seville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016.

Mr. Souter was born in Tifton, Ga. and was the son of the late James Lorman Souter and the late Norma Irene Selph Souter. He was a retired machinist for Harris Press and Shear. He was an avid fisherman and hunter.

He is survived by his wife: Elizabeth Faye Souter of Seville; his daughters: Sheila (James) Britt of Pitts and Gail (David) Johnson of Arabi; his sister: Brenda (Rusty) Parker of Cordele; and his granddaughter: Pam (Kevin) Cox of Sycamore, Ga.
