CORDELE — The Crisp County Lions Club invites the public to enjoy a day filled with fun, food, entertainment, and activities for all ages as they host the 3rd Annual Pickers in the Park Yard Sale and Crafts Fair. The event will begin at 7 a.m. at Crisp Regional Hospital Park located at the corner 3rd Street North and 2nd Avenue East on Saturday, May 7.
The Crisp Lions Club is still accepting applications for vendors. Maybe you have a church group that wants to sell baked goods or some form of arts and crafts or yard sale items. Maybe you are an individual with a need to clean out your closets and garages. Sign up now and bring your items to Pickers in the Park.
Gary Cross, chairman of the club says they are excited to bring the event back to Cordele for the third year and hopes that this year’s event will be the best yet.
There will be entertainment throughout the day which will be announced closer to the event.
Cross said that anyone wishing to be a part of Pickers in the Park should contact him at (229)942-5932. He also informed the club is always looking for prospective members. They meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at T.J.’s Restaurant.
