CORDELE — A graveside service with military honors were held for Raymond Lee Nutt of Cordele at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Nutt, 91, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at Crisp Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Geneva Nutt and a grandson, Brian Nutt. He was born in Dooly County and was the son of the late Nigel and Fannie Mae Dillard Nutt. Mr. Nutt was the last living charter member of Pinecrest Baptist Church and was retired from the engineering department of Marvair.
He is survived by his three sons and their wives, J.R. and Janice Nutt of Ashburn, Charles and Alice Nutt of Arabi and Danny and Peggy Nutt of Vienna; five grandchildren, Deanna Wilson and her husband Richard, Jason Keaton and his wife, Holley, Jarrett Keaton, Hunter Clements and Jeff Clements; five great-grandchildren, David Wise, Gunnar Yaughn, Harrison Keaton, Haley Keaton and Jaycee Keaton; and three sisters, Eula Mae Bell of Hawkinsville and Marie Moreland and Peggy Plair, both of Frostproof, FL.
