CORDELE — Funeral services for Aaron Phillip Holder were held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Lake Blackshear Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Streetman officiating.
After the processional by Monty Millikin, he sang “I Am Home” and Andrea Turk sang “For Every Valley.” LaRoyce Keene sang a medley of songs and included “Lifeboat On My Table”, “Empty Mansions”, “Dusty Roads”, “Whitehorse And His Rider”, “Where Are The Flowers”, “Silver And Gold”, “Help Me” and “Why Me Lord.” Randy Calhoun and Caleb Cripe sang “Simple Man,” and Aaron’s daughter, Lexie, joined them in singing “Soul Shine.”
The committal service followed in Sunnyside Cemetery.  LaRoyce Keene led the congregation in singing “Precious Memories” and “Amazing Grace.”
Pallbearers were Stephen James, Adam Wood, Caleb Cripe, Russ Landry, Bill DeFriess and Jason Carver. Honorary pallbearers were Troy Williams, Darel Allen, Phillip Nichols, Josh Cripe, Adam Priest, Greg Lang, Shane Cobb and William “Tater” Vaughn.
Arrangements were by Rainey Family Funeral Services.
