CORDELE — Funeral Services for Opal Perry Smith were held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 in the chapel of Hughes & Wright Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Wilbanks and Rev. Ronnie Duncan officiated the service. Jacquelyn Walters played for the service and also accompanied Tim Perry as he sang “Precious Memories.” Rev. Royce and Marcene Freeman sang “I Want To Stoll Over Heaven With You”. Graveside services were conducted by Rev. Damon Fountain and Rev. Royce Freeman. A CD of Mrs. Smith’s granddaughter, Amber Ward singing was played at the graveside.
Pallbearers were: Rusty Perry, Will Perry, Herschal Arant, Kim Childers, Ken Arant and Cody Smith.
