CORDELE — Funeral services for Samuel Coney Allison, Jr. of Cordele were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services with Rev. Brent Duncan officiating.  Joey James gave remarks of remembrance to those in attendance. “On The Wings Of A Dove” and “Down To The River To Pray” were played and “You Raise Me Up” was played at the close. Pallbearers were sons, Chris Allison and Brian Allison, and Keith Youngblood, Lindsey Youngblood, Marcus Waters and Zara Stephens. Burial with military honors was in Arabi Cemetery.
