DOUGLAS — Betty “Tom” Thompson went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 14, 2016 at her home in Douglas, GA. She was born on December 6, 1934 in Cordele, GA. to the late Tom and Lenoir Martin.
Betty “Tom” is survived by her daughters, Denise Flanakin of England, AR., Nancy Gibson of Leesburg, GA., Priscilla Perigo of Albany, GA., Elizabeth Gray of Douglas, GA., Norine Smith of Brunswick, GA., sons, Thomas and John Bridges of Douglas, GA; step-son, William E. Fogarty of Tifton, GA; sister, Sara A, Carter of Cordele, GA.
A quiet ceremony will be held with her immediate family at her home in Douglas, GA.
