TIFTON — Martha Edna Rhodes Bloodworth, age 90 of Tifton, formerly of Abbeville, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at her residence.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, June 16th in the Lebanon Baptist Church.  Reverend Jim Faircloth and Reverend Chuck Taylor will officiate.  Interment will be in the family plot in the Lebanon Cemetery.

Mrs. Bloodworth was born on June 26, 1925 in Pineview, Ga.  She was daughter of the late John Henry Rhodes and Della Mae Pope Rhodes.  She was retired from Civil Service Robins Air Force Base.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tifton.  She is preceded in death by her husband, George C. Bloodworth and a son, Danny Bloodworth in 1965.

Survivors include:  son-Dennis (Beverly) Bloodworth of Chula, sister-Johnnie Mae Helms of Hawkinsville, 3-grandchildren-Tiffanie (Ryan) Flemming of Suwanee, Daniell (Nic) Balanis of Birmingham, Alabama and Brian Bloodworth of Tifton and

5-great-grandchildren-Jordyn Flemming and Colton Flemming of Suwanee, James Balanis, Wyatt Balanis and Benton Balanis of Birmingham, Alabama.

Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday, June 15th in the funeral home.

Frazier and Son Funeral Home in Rochelle is in charge of arrangements.
