AMERICUS — Funeral services for Christopher Lance White of Americus will be held at 10:15 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2016 in the chapel of Rainey Family Funeral Services and the committal service will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Americus. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday morning beginning at 9:30 a.m.  Christopher, 39, passed away Monday, June 20, 2016 as the result of injuries he received in a vehicle accident. He was born in Cordele, Crisp County and a graduate of South Georgia Tech. He was a Ford Diesel mechanic, a truck driver, and enjoyed riding motorcycles with his friends. He is survived by his wife, Tracey White of Americus; three children, Nicole White, Collin White and Matt White, all of Americus; two step-children, Cassy Simmons and Cody Simmons of Cartersville; his parents, Pete Richards of Plains and Sandra Elliott of Americus; two brothers, Mitch White and his wife, Kimberly of Warner Robins and Taighlor Richards of Plains; two nephews, Robbie White and Logan Richards; and many deeply treasured friends.
