Cordele talent is ex-SEED-ingly Excellent

CORDELE — Talent was definitely in BIG supply last weekend at the Annual ex-SEED-ingly excellent Talent Showcase sponsored by Empire Dance and Performing Arts Studio.
There was a myriad of talented performers that took to the stage competing in one of four categories. Winners were announced in each category and those earning first place received a cash prize and free entry into the studio’s agent showcase workshop this fall.
In the 4-9 year old category: 1st place – Sophie Dowdy, 2nd place – Kayden Watford, and 3rd place Logan Everett. In the 10-12 year old category: 1st place – Sibbie Priest, 2nd place – The Empire Dance Team of Blair Musselwhite, Emily Stanage, Sierra Kelley and Anslee Boutwell and 3rd place Skylar Watford. In the 13-17 year old category: 1st place – Victoria Day, 2nd place – Gracie Chadwick, and 3rd place – Alyssa Brown. In the 18 and up category: 1st place – Empire Dance Duo Kyle Whitaker and Andrea Shiver, 2nd place – Paige Acheson who is also an Empire Dancer, 3rd place – Todd Stanage.
