MACON — Martha Jane Wilcox, 83, died at Pine Pointe Hospice Sunday night, July 10, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, July 31, 2016 at Pinecrest Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service in the social hall.

Mrs. Wilcox was born in Malvern, Ark. to the late Leonard Cash and the late Elsie Majors Cash. She is preceded in death by her husband: Rev. David Pierce Wilcox, and her son: David Wilcox.

She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Warner Robins. While she and her husband lived in Cordele, she was the choir director and youth director at Pinecrest Baptist Church. She taught piano to many area young people, and cherished each moment. She supported her husband’s ministry in every way possible.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law: Deborah and Fred W. Cusick of Warner Robins; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Pine Pointe Hospice Inpatient Facility, 6261 Peake Road, Macon, GA 31210 or the Alzheimer’s Association, Central Georgia Regional Office, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, GA 31201.
